PrEP/PEP questions:
Unfortunately, due to funding shifts, PleasePrEPMe is no longer staffed to answer questions about PrEP and PEP.
Do you think you've been exposed to HIV within the last 72 hours? PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) helps to prevent HIV infection AFTER exposure. The sooner PEP is started after exposure, the better. Go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care clinic for assistance and ask for PEP.
